EPower Technology has developed a patent-pending multiport power conversion system for commercial and industrial nearly net-zero buildings, microgrids, and data centers. The system is based on a Multiple-Active-Bridge (MAB) converter with multiple bidirectional, galvanically isolated DC ports, enabling flexible interconnection among distributed energy resources, storage systems, and dynamic loads.

The MAB converter can be integrated into EP's modular, plug-and-play inverters, which are capable of autonomous operation in both grid-connected and islanded modes. This architecture enables flexible microgrid reconfiguration and power-routing functionality, while the MAB converter remains inverter-agnostic, ensuring broad compatibility across different system implementations.
