Fariba Fateh, PhD

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Fariba Fateh brings 17 years of expertise in control systems, with deep specialization in nonlinear and adaptive control. Her work spans energy management, standards-driven engineering requirements, and the translation of advanced control technologies into industrial applications. As CEO, Fariba leads Epower Technology’s market-entry and partnership strategy, including commercialization planning, market validation, channel development, and strategic partner engagement. Her technical background and commercialization focus help position Epower to advance energy-efficient power systems from research and prototype development toward practical market deployment.

Behrooz Mirazfal, PhD

CO-FOUNDER & CTO

Behrooz Mirafzal brings 23 years of experience in power electronics, including prior industry experience as a Senior Development Engineer at Rockwell Automation. He has authored an influential book on power electronics, published more than 120 technical papers, and holds eight patents. Recognized among the top 2% of researchers worldwide in his specialty, Behrooz has received numerous honors, including the Rockwell Automation Innovation Award and multiple IEEE Best Paper Awards. As CTO, he leads Epower’s technology development, product architecture, and prototyping efforts, drawing on broad technical expertise and industry insight to support strategic partnerships and commercialization.

BUSINESS ADVISOR

Chuck DeMilo brings more than 20 years of experience commercializing advanced technologies across cleantech, biotechnology, photonics, and defense. His background includes global marketing leadership at Luminus Devices, where he supported the launch of energy-efficient LED technology, as well as strategic roles at Raytheon and PerkinElmer focused on product development, market strategy, and business growth. Chuck combines technical depth in physics and optics with experience in venture strategy, strategic marketing, and intellectual property strategy. He supports Epower’s positioning, partner development, and commercialization strategy as the company advances its energy-efficient power systems technologies toward market adoption.
